It has been a challenge to get people to pronounce my name correctly. The journey from Charan to CA has included Charon, Sharan, Sharon and believe it or not - John. So I prefer to be called CA.

My passion is small business and entrepreneurship. With engineering and business degrees, I have been a part of various

assignments at both large and small businesses over the last eight years.

They have been as varied as the journey of my name - from business analysis to investment banking to marketing and strategy - to project management. I am also a Member of the International Institute of Business Analysts^TM.

Unlike CA I have no troubles with my name. It’s easy to pronounce too.

I work with firms on matters of project management and project implementation. I have a bachelor of telecommunications engineering and master certificate in project management. I am currently on a sabbatical.

Blog’s Purpose

Small and medium businesses (SMEs) are the life line of any economy. SMEs fail not because of lack of ideas, but because of poor execution; because of poor management; and at times because of lack of funding. A SME with a good management practices and a history of successful execution of strategic plans will have no trouble obtaining funding.

While this blog will focus on issues faced by small businesses and entrepreneurs (marketing, HR, leadership, finance, operations), we will also talk about other topics - economics, trade, etc. The objective of the blog is to enable entrepreneurs and small business leaders like you share and discover what makes your business tick. This blog is about building your business and realizing your dreams.
